Certified Organic Pasture-Raised Chicken

Our chicken is certified organic, raised out on pasture, and fed 100% organic non-GMO feed.

Whole chicken frozen/fresh – $7.50/lb. Whole chicken is fresh or frozen and usually between 3-5 lbs.

Forest-Raised Pork

Our pork is raised in forest and brushland and fed a varied diet of organic grain, hay, pasture, cover crop (mixed legumes and grasses), organic whey from Upper Canada Creamery, and whatever nuts and fruit they can forage in the forest. This produces a much healthier deeper reddish-pink pork that is full of flavor. Not at all comparable to the pale pink, watery pork from the supermarkets.

Pork is one of the most versatile types of meat and can be cooked in just about every way imaginable, or preserved as sausages, bacon, or charcuterie.

Whole hog – $6.00/lb (of dressed weight). A whole hog usually includes:

  • 36-40 Pork Chops
  • 4-6 Shoulder Roasts or Chops
  • Ground Pork, Stew meat, or Sausage
  • Spare Ribs
  • Pork Belly or Side pork
  • 4-6 Leg Roasts
  • Pork Bones
  • Rendered or Unrendered Fatback and Leaf Lard
  • 2 Jowls and Offal on request

Half hog – $6.50/lb (of dressed weight). A half hog typically includes:

  • 18-20 Pork Chops
  • 2 Shoulder Roasts or Chops
  • Ground Pork, Stew meat, or Sausage
  • Spare Ribs
  • Pork Belly or Side pork
  • 2 Leg Roasts
  • Pork Bones
  • Rendered or Unrendered Lard
  • 1 Jowl and Offal on request

Pasture-Raised Goat

Our goats are raised out on pasture in the brushy areas of the farm. They are able to browse on woody brush and brambles as they would in the wild, as well as some grass and pasture. Our goat is lean and delicious and 100% “grass” fed.

Goat meat is a deliciously mild and clean-tasting red meat. It is quite lean and high in proteins and vitamins. Although not eaten as much in Canada as it is elsewhere in the world, goat meat is a delicious prepared in many different ways. Roasted, barbequed, braised, or pan fried to a nice medium rare.
